Lead and grow a software engineering team developing reliable, scalable tools for configuring, managing, and debugging networking hardware. Balance people leadership with hands-on technical and design guidance across cross-platform C++ and Python solutions.

- Lead, mentor, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing software engineering team.
- Own team priorities and execution across the group roadmap, from architecture and requirements through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provide technical and design leadership for C++ and Python tools interacting with networking devices on Linux and Windows.
- Drive engineering excellence through design and code reviews, automation, testing, release practices, quality standards, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Coordinate with leadership, peer teams, hardware, firmware, QA, product, and program-management partners to manage dependencies, risks, and delivery.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience building complex production software.
- At least 3 years of software engineering management experience, including people development, performance management, and project delivery.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, object-oriented design, Linux, Git, debugging, and modern development practices.
- Ability to translate system architectures and ambiguous requirements into detailed designs and execution plans.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills.

- Experience with networking devices, embedded systems, hardware-management tools, or data-center infrastructure.
- Knowledge of device configuration, telemetry, diagnostics, or hardware-debugging workflows.
- Experience leading cross-platform software for Linux and Windows.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and large cross-organizational programs.
- Experience improving engineering productivity, automation, development processes, or AI-assisted development workflows.
