Lead the hardware and embedded engineering function for a company developing fire detection and smoke management products. Own technical direction, team development, execution, manufacturing transition, and product lifecycle support across multiple products.

- Lead the hardware and embedded engineering function and shape its growth.
- Own technical architecture and key design decisions.
- Build and develop an engineering team of 3–5 people.
- Create and manage development plans, milestones, and priorities across multiple projects.
- Drive execution, risk management, and predictable delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, NPI, Manufacturing, QA, and Operations teams.
- Manage technical activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and external partners.
- Support product transition from development to manufacturing.
- Improve engineering processes and development methodologies.
- Lead regulatory, certification, and compliance activities for fire detection and smoke management products.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in hardware and/or embedded development.
- Experience leading engineering teams and multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong system-level and architectural thinking.
- Hands-on product development experience from concept through production.
- Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with manufacturing transfer and new product introduction processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and execution skills.
