- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of full-stack engineers
- Own the team’s systems end to end, from architecture and development through production operations and continuous improvement
- Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed, data-intensive systems
- Make architectural decisions covering scalability, performance, availability, reliability, and maintainability
- Remain hands-on across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure development
- Lead effective and responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools
- Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, observability, and operational readiness
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Systems Engineering on planning, prioritization, and delivery
דרישות
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial backend development
- At least 3 years of software development team management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and REST API design
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production deployment and operations
- Experience with AWS or comparable cloud environments
- Experience operating high-scale production systems with high throughput or availability requirements
- Strong system design and architectural decision-making skills
- Consistent hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with multiple database technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or Elasticsearch
- Experience with Kafka or event streaming, microservices, or event-driven architectures
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills
