Lead an engineering squad in Tel Aviv building scalable APIs, data layers, and AI-enabled systems for blockchain intelligence, fraud prevention, and risk management. The role begins at Staff Backend Engineer level and is expected to transition into team leadership within 3–6 months.

- Lead and mentor experienced software engineers through technical guidance and career coaching
- Own the architecture and performance of ETLs and data layers handling large data volumes
- Drive code quality, scalability, performance, and architectural standards
- Partner with product managers to translate fraud-prevention requirements into production systems
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries, Kubernetes deployments, APIs, and data-processing workflows
- Support the growth, delivery, and technical excellence of a core engineering squad
דרישות
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience
- Expertise in Python and FastAPI, including serving requests at scale
- Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and large-scale data systems
- Experience using AI tools and developing or deploying AI-enabled tooling, including LLMs or agents
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and BigQuery
- Ability to lead projects or mentor engineering teams
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Commitment to clean, scalable, testable code

- Experience in fintech, cybersecurity, or fraud detection
- Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes/GKE
