Engineering Manager, Firmware Systems

Lead a team responsible for system bring-up and firmware validation for next-generation networking products, AI platforms, and silicon in Yokneam Illit, Israel. The role combines people leadership with hands-on system engineering, debugging, and product integration across pre- and post-silicon work.

- Lead and mentor a team of firmware and system engineers
- Provide technical guidance, career mentorship, and support for team productivity
- Define and implement product integration and validation for networking products
- Plan, schedule, and oversee team projects and activities
- Collaborate with architecture, product, and software design teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Coordinate pre-silicon and post-silicon activities
- Investigate system behavior and debug hardware, firmware, and software interactions
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of managerial experience
- At least 6 years of relevant firmware development or system validation experience
- Strong system-level understanding and hands-on laboratory experience
- Programming skills in Python
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
יתרון
- Knowledge of software-hardware interfaces, PCIe, memory subsystems, storage components, network applications, device drivers, or real-time software
- Programming experience in C or C++ in addition to Python
- Understanding of computing architectures, hardware system block diagrams, and schematics
- Previous experience in system validation, technical leadership, or silicon bring-up leadership
