Senior Operations Finance Controller

A technology manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Operations Finance Controller to oversee inventory accounting, costing, operational controls, and financial analysis. The role reports to the Director of Finance and partners closely with operations leadership.

- Maintain and validate inventory valuation policies, capitalization rules, purchasing policies, cost of goods sold monitoring, and inventory reserves
- Calculate, forecast, and manage excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and other inventory reserves and releases
- Review safety-stock, minimum/maximum, and reorder parameters for financial risk and cash-flow impact
- Validate standard costs, bills of materials, routings, periodic cost rolls, and product-cost integrity
- Budget and monitor production yields and direct costs; analyze purchase price, manufacturing, and material-usage variances
- Provide gross-margin, cost-of-goods-sold, and product-cost analysis to finance and operations leadership
- Oversee cycle-count and physical-inventory programs and improve inventory record accuracy
- Reconcile physical counts with ERP and financial records, investigate discrepancies, and approve inventory adjustments
- Conduct financial and operational reviews across procurement, production, warehousing, and shipping
- Maintain reconciliations for inventory, reserves, and operational accruals; support monthly close, audits, and compliance
- Monitor open purchase orders and liabilities for accurate financial reporting
- Advise on make-or-buy decisions, supplier changes, and operational process changes
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation across inventory, costing, and financial controls
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in cost accounting or operational finance within manufacturing or a hardware-focused company
- Hands-on expertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, inventory reserves, and variance analysis
- Practical experience with cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliations, and operational book closing
- Strong ERP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Fluent English and Hebrew

- Experience with Priority, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle ERP systems
