Join an engineering team building the software foundation for AI infrastructure. Design and upstream Kubernetes and CNCF capabilities, develop scalable cloud-native systems, and collaborate with engineering teams and open-source communities.

- Design, implement, and upstream capabilities for Kubernetes and CNCF projects
- Identify AI infrastructure challenges and develop solutions through upstream innovation
- Collaborate with Kubernetes SIGs, Working Groups, engineering teams, and the wider open-source community
- Participate in architecture discussions, API design, technical proposals, and code reviews
- Build reliable and scalable infrastructure software for AI workloads
- Write technical documentation and design proposals
דרישות
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or platform software
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and the cloud-native ecosystem
- Experience extending, building, or contributing to Kubernetes-based solutions
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Curiosity, adaptability, and interest in learning AI infrastructure

- Active contributions to Kubernetes, CNCF, or other open-source infrastructure projects
- Open-source leadership experience as a maintainer, reviewer, approver, or SIG/Working Group leader
- Experience designing Kubernetes APIs, authoring KEPs, or advancing community proposals
- Experience with Kubernetes scheduling, networking, Gateway API, workload APIs, or other core subsystems
- Understanding of AI infrastructure, including inference systems, GPU scheduling, distributed serving, or LLM infrastructure
