An Israeli AI infrastructure company is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to own the server and lab environment supporting R&D integration, validation, and testing. - Manage and maintain server racks and the Alpha Lab environment for R&D validation and testing
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems on new server platforms
- Configure virtual machines, Docker containers, and server images for development and testing
- Develop and maintain Python, Bash, or similar automation scripts for testing and lab operations
- Perform system bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting across hardware and software environments
- Assemble, configure, and integrate server platforms, including hardware installation and component replacement
- Prepare and maintain stable environments for validation activities
- Monitor lab infrastructure, equipment health, availability, and environmental conditions
- Collaborate with software, integration, and test engineers to resolve technical issues
- Document configurations, procedures, and lab practices
דרישות
- At least 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in Linux server infrastructure, system integration, lab operations, or a similar engineering environment
- Experience establishing and owning lab infrastructure, operating procedures, and working environments
- Strong experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems, servers, and supporting infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, system bring-up, component replacement, and hardware-software integration
- Experience with virtualization technologies, virtual machines, and Docker containers
- Experience developing automation scripts with Python, Bash, or a similar language
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across hardware, operating systems, networking, and software
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills
