Join a security company’s engineering team to strengthen and extend a production Python detection engine processing cloud, SaaS, and identity data. Work with cyber investigators on production detection logic and contribute to the platform’s technical direction. Hybrid role based in Tel Aviv.

- Harden, refactor, and extend a large production Python codebase, including module and API design, typing, and test coverage
- Own and optimize PySpark workflows processing large security datasets across multi-cloud environments, balancing correctness and cost
- Design data models and queries and improve query performance
- Partner with cyber investigators to translate attacker behavior into production detection logic
- Use AI coding agents and build AI-enabled workflows, including agentic automation and LLM-backed services
- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, CI, and shared standards
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the platform’s technical direction
דרישות
- At least 5 years of production Python experience, including typing, refactoring, module and API design, pytest, packaging, and code review
- Hands-on SQL experience designing schemas and optimizing slow queries
- Experience using AI coding agents and shipping an LLM-based solution, including prompt design, structured outputs, multi-step or agentic flows, and testing nondeterministic behavior
- Fluency with Git and CI, including diagnosing and fixing failed pipelines

- Experience with workflow automation or agent platforms such as n8n, LangGraph, or Temporal
- MCP servers or tool-calling integrations
- Experience with both Spark and Kafka
