A global enterprise software company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the technical direction of its billing and subscription management platform. The role combines distributed-systems architecture, technical leadership, and organization-wide engineering influence.

- Define and drive the platform’s technical strategy and vision.
- Design and communicate complex end-to-end distributed-system architectures to technical and executive audiences.
- Establish engineering standards and govern architectural consistency across microservices and infrastructure.
- Guide long-term architectural decisions by evaluating industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Partner with R&D leadership to improve engineering execution, culture, and technical capabilities.
- Design for high availability, fault tolerance, and multi-tenant scalability.
- Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of enterprise software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, and scalable backend architectures.
- Extensive experience architecting and operating mission-critical financial or billing platforms at scale.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, staff-level mentoring, and ability to influence engineering direction across an organization.
- Ability to use data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
- Professional working proficiency in English, verbally and in writing.
