Build and lead a hands-on Test Engineering team, establishing scalable production test operations for silicon photonics products. Own the transition from development testing to stable volume production in collaboration with engineering, operations, external Test Houses, and equipment suppliers.

- Build and lead the Test Engineering team while remaining hands-on with equipment, systems, and technical challenges.
- Lead assembly, installation, integration, qualification, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced test equipment.
- Define equipment and test-flow readiness, including calibration, correlation, repeatability, maintenance, spare parts, and release criteria.
- Ensure test programs are stable, controlled, repeatable, and optimized for test time, utilization, and production requirements.
- Monitor test performance, yield, wafer maps, binning, data integrity, and traceability, and resolve technical gaps.
- Lead cross-functional resolution of mechanical, electrical, optical, software, measurement, and process issues.
- Own Test House capacity planning, scheduling, priorities, utilization, output, and cycle-time performance.
- Manage technical relationships with external Test Houses, equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Define production-ramp readiness, manage technical and operational risks, and drive the transition to stable volume production.

- Experience leading Test Engineering teams or complex multidisciplinary engineering activities.
- Strong hands-on engineering background and willingness to work directly with test equipment, systems, and technical issues.
- Experience with automated test systems, test-program development, equipment qualification, capacity planning, or Test House operations.
- Broad technical knowledge across areas such as electronics, mechanics, optics, automation, instrumentation, motion control, and software.
- Strong technical problem-solving, planning, supplier management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering field.

- Experience in semiconductor or silicon photonics environments; experience with other complex multidisciplinary systems is also relevant.
