A networking technology company is seeking a Senior Software Verification Engineer to develop Python-based test automation, verify software and networking protocols, identify defects, and improve release quality.

- Participate in software development, integration, and verification with research and development teams.
- Develop and maintain Python test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of software applications and networking protocols.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and other quality issues.
- Improve design verification flows, testing methodologies, and test coverage.
- Track release progress and manage release quality indicators using planning and tracking systems.
- Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements to software quality and maintainability.
- Evaluate test processes and recommend improvements based on industry practices and emerging technologies.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing Python programs.
- Strong software design, implementation, and debugging experience.
- Experience with continuous integration methodologies and tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
- Experience working with Linux distributions, including CentOS or Red Hat, Ubuntu, Fedora, or SLES.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

- Understanding of networking applications and protocols, including IP and Ethernet.
