Senior Semiconductor Automation Process Engineer

Lead semiconductor manufacturing process engineering and the transition of manual production lines to automated operations at an on-site facility in Israel. The role covers robotics, machine vision, MES, material handling, process experimentation, yield improvement, and failure analysis.

- Lead semiconductor manufacturing processes including assembly, flip-chip, underfill, polishing, and visual inspection.
- Define engineering requirements and specifications for automating manual production lines.
- Collaborate with vendors supplying robotics, cobots, autonomous mobile robots, machine vision systems, and MES platforms.
- Design and execute experiments to improve yield and reduce process variation.
- Conduct root-cause failure analysis and drive continuous improvement.
- Write technical specifications, standard operating procedures, and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and R&D teams.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, or physics.
- At least 3 years of process engineering experience in the semiconductor or microelectronics industry.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- High-level technical writing skills in Hebrew and English.
- System-level perspective, project management capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.

- Hands-on experience with automated equipment, robotics, or machine vision systems.
- Familiarity with MES platforms, statistical process control, and design of experiments.
- Experience transitioning manual manufacturing lines to automated processes.
- Experience with flip-chip bonding, underfill dispensing, polishing, or visual inspection.
- Experience working directly with automation integrators.
