Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Hard Real-Time Systems

Develop infrastructure software for embedded hard real-time systems within a missile and space systems division. The role involves processor-level development, hardware integration, testing, optimization, and collaboration with systems, hardware, FPGA, test, and project teams.

- Develop software infrastructure for embedded hard real-time systems.
- Work with different processors and real-time hardware.
- Develop C/C++ software, write device drivers, and implement communication protocols.
- Analyze and document requirements.
- Write and execute tests, optimize software, and perform system integration.
- Design low-level software layers, operating-system interfaces, and application APIs for hardware access and system services.
- Coordinate with systems engineers, test engineers, project managers, hardware engineers, and FPGA engineers.
- Lead development activities from system specification through final product testing and customer deployment.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in software or exact sciences.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with real-time operating systems.
- At least 5 years of C/C++ development experience.
- Experience working with hardware components, devices, interfaces, and communication protocols.
- Experience developing, integrating, and testing hardware for real-time or embedded systems.
- Experience with operating systems and bare-metal environments.
- Strong motivation, systems-level perspective, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
יתרון
- Experience with FreeRTOS or VxWorks 7.0.
- Ability to independently lead system development from specification through final product testing and customer deployment.
- Experience writing development documentation.
- Experience designing low-level hardware access layers, operating-system integrations, and application APIs for hardware and system services.
