Senior Embedded Linux BSP Engineer

Own embedded Linux board support packages across multiple ARM hardware platforms, from initial board bring-up through production releases. Lead low-level software integration and collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, application, and external engineering teams.

- Own BSP components across hardware platforms, including Yocto layers, the Linux kernel, U-Boot, base OS images, and hardware-specific enablement
- Build and maintain Yocto machine and distribution configurations, recipes, images, and release upgrades
- Lead board bring-up from first boot to stable Linux, including SoM and SoC enablement, device trees, storage, peripherals, and boot flows
- Optimize and debug kernels, drivers, bootloaders, and hardware-software integration issues
- Validate hardware interfaces, boot stability, power behavior, and production readiness with hardware and new-product-introduction teams
- Own secure boot, signed images, factory provisioning, flashing, and upgrade mechanisms
- Partner with research and development, hardware, application, build, and manufacturing teams on platform delivery
דרישות
- At least 5 years of hands-on Embedded Linux BSP experience on ARM platforms
- Deep knowledge of Yocto and OpenEmbedded, including layers, recipes, machine and distribution configuration, images, and upgrades
- Experience with U-Boot, SPL, device trees, boot flows, board configuration, and bootloader debugging
- Board bring-up experience covering clocks, pin multiplexing, storage, eMMC, peripherals, and first-boot debugging
- Proficiency with Python or Bash scripting and Git, with strong build and test automation practices
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets and debug using serial, JTAG, and logic or bus-analysis tools
- Experience with secure boot and image authentication
- Ability to scope, direct, review, and integrate external contractor, vendor, and subcontractor BSP work

- Kernel and driver development in C or C++, including out-of-tree modules
