Join a multidisciplinary R&D team developing control and stabilization solutions for electro-optical aerospace systems. The role covers algorithm development, embedded software, calibration, testing, and system integration.

- Develop and implement control algorithms for electro-optical aerospace systems.
- Create automated calibration and optimization processes, software infrastructure, acceptance tests, simulations, root-cause analyses, and performance tests.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, electronics, and production teams throughout project development.
- Participate in system integration, laboratory and field testing, design reviews, and multidisciplinary technical activities.
- Conduct experiments for proof-of-design, proof-of-concept, and problem-solving activities.
- Provide customer and technical support, including guidance for collaborative projects.
- Maintain and upgrade production systems.
דרישות
- At least 5 years of control engineering experience in the defense industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aeronautical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of six-degree-of-freedom dynamics and motion-control systems, including BLDC motors and loads.
- Ability to create mathematical models in the time and frequency domains.
- Experience with real-time embedded software, C development, debugging, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Experience with model-based design using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, operating principles, communication protocols, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with protocols including SSI, BiSS, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Knowledge of control methods such as field-oriented control, Kalman filtering, loop shaping, state-space control, observers, tracking algorithms, PWM, and system identification.

- Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aeronautical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of optics and imaging concepts, including field of view, digital stabilization, line-of-sight systems, and exposure timing.
- Experience with signal processing for data analysis and real-time applications.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, debuggers, and digital multimeters.
