Design and validate embedded firmware for networking hardware, including SerDes and optical technologies, across pre-silicon development and silicon bring-up.

  • Enable SerDes and optical technologies
  • Implement firmware functionality for signal-processing units
  • Define, implement, and maintain firmware algorithms controlling silicon
  • Develop and test firmware in emulation and simulation environments
  • Debug hardware, firmware, and software issues
  • Support silicon bring-up and software development
  • Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, and chip-design teams
  • Use data-driven analysis to assess product functionality and improvements

דרישות

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in C programming
  • Experience debugging and triaging complex embedded firmware issues
  • Excellent written and spoken English

יתרון

  • Python and MATLAB proficiency
  • Understanding of SerDes operation
  • Experience developing physical-layer communication protocols
  • Knowledge of hardware/software development processes
