Join a small, independent team building a scalable visual moderation product within an established software company. Own backend architecture, delivery, and operations for high-throughput systems processing large volumes of images and videos.

- Design, build, and evolve the server side of a large-scale visual moderation platform
- Develop high-throughput asynchronous pipelines for large volumes of images and videos
- Build multi-tenant systems and cost-sensitive machine learning workloads
- Support agentic moderation workflows and AI-driven decision systems
- Make architectural decisions that support long-term scalability
- Deliver iteratively while balancing customer impact, latency, cost, and operational complexity
- Build secure, modular backend systems with strong testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability practices
- Own the full development lifecycle, including shipping and operating production systems
דרישות
- At least 10 years of backend engineering experience delivering and owning production systems
- Strong hands-on backend coding skills; the team uses Python
- Strong experience building and operating cloud-based systems
- Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, queues, workflows, and production monitoring
- Ability to work independently in a low-process environment and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
