An analytics hardware company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to develop data-framework integrations and improve data-processing performance.

תחומי אחריות

  • Develop Spark plugins and integrations
  • Build software in Scala and Java, with additional Python development
  • Design algorithms for processing and optimizing query plans
  • Define the query abstraction layer
  • Contribute to open-source projects
  • Collaborate with software teams to optimize software and hardware integration for maximum performance

דרישות

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field
  • At least 8 years of software development experience, with a strong focus on data engineering
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Scala
  • Experience with Apache Spark or other big-data frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
