- Design and implement hybrid keyword and semantic search strategies
- Tune search relevance and develop systems to measure result quality
- Integrate OpenAI embeddings with Elasticsearch for vector retrieval
- Design indexing approaches for long documents such as earnings transcripts
- Optimize Elasticsearch queries and index settings for low latency
- Develop and maintain Python services for query construction and result processing
- Build asynchronous APIs and backend services with FastAPI and Asyncio
דרישות
- Production experience with Elasticsearch or other search engines
- Strong understanding of indices, analyzers, and mappings
- Knowledge of lexical and vector search and when to apply each
- Strong Python 3.10+ experience
- Experience with asynchronous Python using async/await
- Experience building APIs with FastAPI
- Experience designing JSON schemas for efficient search retrieval

- Familiarity with LangChain or similar LLM frameworks
- Experience with search evaluation tools such as LangSmith
