- Design and develop shared backend infrastructure, services, APIs, and internal developer tools.
- Build reusable backend systems across modern technology stacks.
- Define engineering best practices and contribute to architectural decisions across teams.
- Improve development velocity, code quality, performance, and user experience.
- Lead projects from planning through delivery while collaborating with stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers and promote maintainable, high-quality backend development.
דרישות
- At least 6 years of professional backend development experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Node.js experience in production.
- Experience designing or maintaining shared backend systems, platform services, internal tools, microservices, or APIs.
- Strong knowledge of system design and application architecture, including distributed services, offline processes, queues, topics, scalability, performance, and error handling.
- Experience deploying, managing, and scaling backend services in AWS or an equivalent cloud environment.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, key-value, and other databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving, investigation, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, and mentor engineers.
- Commitment to clean code, developer experience, performance, reliability, and security.
