A direct-to-consumer software platform for app publishers is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and evolve high-scale, cloud-native backend systems. The role includes end-to-end ownership from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

- Design and maintain scalable, highly available backend services in cloud-native environments.
- Own features through design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Contribute to system architecture, API design, data modeling, and event-driven workflows.
- Write maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Improve performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Product.
- Mentor engineers and improve engineering standards.
דרישות
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable backend systems and end-to-end web applications.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript backend development skills.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven systems.
- Experience working in cloud environments; AWS is preferred.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, and caching solutions such as Redis.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Strong knowledge of production-grade system architecture and software design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership-oriented approach.
