- Own complex backend and infrastructure problems from architecture through production
- Design and build event-driven systems and backend services
- Create and automate complex user workflows using generative AI
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and data solutions through technical explorations and proofs of concept
- Improve scalability, performance, reliability, and developer velocity
- Respond to production and customer issues and deliver fixes quickly
- Collaborate directly with onboarding, customer success, and customer teams
- Report to the VP of Engineering and work with founders on technical initiatives
דרישות
- 7+ years building and owning complex backend or distributed systems in production
- Experience in a senior technical role such as Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, or Principal Engineer
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, SQL, and data or event pipelines
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Ability to connect technical decisions to business and customer impact
- Commitment to high code quality and constructive collaboration
- Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to defining and solving problems in ambiguous environments
- Willingness to handle customer-facing technical work, production fixes, and hotfixes
