- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for customer experience systems, third-party tools, and operational logs.
- Develop and optimize warehouse tables, data marts, views, and other models for reporting, monitoring, forecasting, quality assurance, and experimentation.
- Implement data validation, anomaly detection, monitoring, data definitions, service-level agreements, and ownership for critical datasets and metrics.
- Improve the performance and cost efficiency of high-volume data jobs and queries through partitioning, indexing, query tuning, and storage optimization.
- Build internal data products such as self-service analytics, monitoring dashboards, alerting systems, investigator tools, quality tools, and agent performance views.
- Develop APIs, data services, and lightweight user interfaces using languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Apply testing, code review, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and runbook practices to data products and services.
- Create dashboards and reports covering contact volumes, handling time, quality, customer outcomes, agent performance, and operational alerts.
- Analyze contact patterns, customer issues, agent performance, and operational efficiency to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
- Define and maintain consistent business metrics and KPIs across teams and tools.
- Partner with product, operations, analytics, workforce management, quality, training, policy, and engineering stakeholders.
- At Staff-level scope, shape data and tooling strategy, influence cross-team architecture, drive roadmaps, and mentor engineers and analysts.

- At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Analyst; Staff-level scope typically requires 10+ years or equivalent impact.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, aggregation, and query optimization.
- Experience with a major data warehouse or big data technology such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Spark, Vertica, or StarRocks.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools or orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, dbt, or equivalent systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language for data and services, such as Python, Java, Golang, Kotlin, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building production-grade data pipelines or data services with strong quality, monitoring, and maintainability practices.
- Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Superset, Metabase, or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn business questions into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics concisely to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, or causal analysis.
