Data Engineer, Developer Platform

Join a web platform company’s data engineering team and build reliable infrastructure, models, and tools that support product and business decisions. This fully in-person role is based in Tel Aviv and uses AI-assisted engineering workflows.

- Design, build, and maintain pipelines for data warehouse and production processes
- Own Apache Airflow orchestration, including DAG design, monitoring, alerting, and production reliability
- Design data models and contracts for core domains and downstream consumers
- Translate business and product questions into stable, qualified, well-modeled data solutions
- Integrate data from product events, applications, APIs, operational databases, logs, and third-party systems
- Diagnose and resolve data quality, pipeline, performance, and reliability issues
- Create and use AI agents and LLM-based tools for development, testing, documentation, and root-cause analysis
דרישות
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar data-focused engineering role
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with an ability to write clean, performant, maintainable code
- Experience building and operating software in large-scale production environments
- Deep hands-on Apache Airflow experience, including ownership of production DAGs at scale
- Strong data modeling skills and experience designing scalable data assets
- Business and product orientation, including understanding the meaning and context of metrics
- Experience working with product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Practical daily experience with AI coding agents and LLM-based tools
- Experience handling varied data sources such as product events, application data, APIs, operational databases, logs, and third-party systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills involving data quality, pipeline failures, performance, and reliability

- Experience with containerized or Kubernetes-based data workloads
- Experience with Spark or PySpark for large-scale distributed processing
- Experience with query engines such as Trino
- Experience with CI/CD and software engineering best practices
- Experience building internal LLM-based tools or agents
