Junior Malware Researcher

Use software development skills to investigate malicious applications and contribute to malware detection and removal. The role includes hands-on training in malware analysis and detection and is based five days a week in the TLV office near the railway station.

- Analyze and investigate malicious applications, malware threats, and techniques
- Apply development skills and code analysis to understand malicious applications and identify threats
- Combine technical analysis and intelligence findings to reach accurate verdicts
- Contribute to detecting and removing malicious applications at scale
- Proactively identify emerging malware trends
דרישות
- At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or software development
- Hands-on cybersecurity experience, such as malware analysis, reverse engineering, SOC investigations, mobile or APK analysis, or penetration testing
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Ability to trace code execution through code analysis
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and programming fundamentals
יתרון
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Assembly, C/C++, or other programming languages
- Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, JADX, or JEB
- Familiarity with Frida or Xposed
- Experience with Burp Suite, Wireshark, Fiddler, or HTTP Toolkit
- Knowledge of common malware threats and techniques
