Lead the engineering maturation and production transfer of complex satellite systems, optimizing designs for cost, manufacturability, scalability, and serial production.
Responsabilidades
- Assess satellite designs and adapt engineering for serial production while prototypes mature.
- Lead Design to Cost and Design to Manufacture processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Optimize system designs to reduce costs and shorten production and assembly times.
- Manage engineering trade-offs involving performance, cost, delivery time, risk, and manufacturability.
- Lead modular design and component standardization for parallel production and scalability.
- Define validation, integration, and system testing processes for serial production.
- Manage system risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies across engineering disciplines.
- Own engineering maturity and transfer systems from development into production.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aeronautical, electrical and electronics engineering, or physics.
- At least 5 years of experience leading design processes for complex systems or systems of systems.
- High-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to lead organizational change and introduce industrial methodologies in a development organization.
Se valora
- Experience with space systems.
- Experience developing airborne or electro-optical systems.
- Strong knowledge of Design to Cost and Design to Manufacture processes.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
