Support worldwide customers and partners with the integration, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting of gimbaled electro-optical/infrared payloads for UAV, drone, robotic, and related platforms. Combine customer-facing application engineering with technical marketing and business development.
Responsabilidades
- Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle
- Integrate EO/IR payloads onto UAV, UAS, drone, and robotic platforms
- Configure systems and conduct troubleshooting, testing, and validation
- Lead technical investigations and resolve complex field issues
- Provide on-site customer support, demonstrations, acceptance tests, and field trials
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams
- Create application notes, integration guides, and technical documentation
- Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and system integrators
- Support worldwide pre-sales and post-sales activities
- Present products, conduct demonstrations and technical workshops, and prepare demonstration scenarios
- Identify customer needs and translate market requirements into product recommendations
- Prepare marketing materials and technical responses to RFIs and RFPs
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace, or computer engineering, physics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in application engineering, systems engineering, field engineering, technical support, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong system-level understanding and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience working directly with customers and international partners
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally as required
Se valora
- Experience with EO/IR payloads, thermal imaging systems, or LWIR cameras
- Familiarity with UAV/UAS platforms and drone applications
- Knowledge of communication interfaces
- Experience with system integration, validation, and field testing
- Background in defense, aerospace, homeland security, or robotics
- Python, MATLAB, or diagnostic and debugging tools experience
- Pilot or drone operator certification
