An aerospace engineering and development organization is seeking a Configuration Manager to oversee product engineering processes, configuration control, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsabilidades
- Own product engineering processes, information-system validation, and product documentation across the product lifecycle.
- Manage project configuration control, engineering documentation, and technical oversight.
- Implement configuration management and PLM processes within the organization.
- Prepare Configuration Management Plans and oversee their implementation.
- Verify the completeness and integrity of product trees, documents, drawings, and change records before system release.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders and coordinate Change Control Board meetings and approval workflows.
- Work with training and configuration management subcontractors and participate in contractor audits.
- Produce periodic configuration status reports.
- Conduct internal configuration audits, including Physical Configuration Audits.
Requisitos
- Engineering degree or technician qualification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering and management.
- Good Excel skills.
- Good English communication, reading, and writing skills.
Se valora
- Experience with configuration management processes in defense companies.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 10007.
- Experience with PLM or PDM systems.
- Demonstrated experience preparing multidisciplinary product files.
- Experience in systems engineering, mechanical design, electronic design, configuration management, or configuration control.
- Experience working with defense contractors and participating in technical audits.
