Lead the production planning function and planning team at a manufacturing site in Israel. Drive long-term planning, end-to-end production control, S&OP, constraint management, and ERP process improvement.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the planning function and shift from reactive firefighting to long-term strategic planning
- Own end-to-end production planning from order receipt through delivery
- Implement and improve the Drum-Buffer-Rope model, including plant constraint management, buffer sizing, and work-release rate control
- Build long-term capacity requirements planning to identify future bottlenecks
- Lead sales and operations planning processes with plant management
- Directly manage planners, including prioritization, performance monitoring, and workload allocation
- Train and mentor the planning team in Infor LN and advanced planning methodologies
- Improve team practices and promote proactive planning ownership
- Improve data quality and processes in the ERP system
- Use enterprise planning and project pegging tools to manage project-linked inventory and resources
- Produce BI reports and analyze data to support management decisions
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management
- At least 3 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous management experience as a team lead or functional lead
- In-depth knowledge of Theory of Constraints and proven DBR implementation experience
- Full proficiency with Infor LN (Baan) ERP
- Experience with project and planning modules in Infor LN
- Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis
- Technical understanding and ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to lead and motivate people
- Broad systems thinking with strong attention to detail
- Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with production, engineering, and customer stakeholders
