Lead supplier engineering and strategic sourcing for advanced technology and hardware programs. Build resilient supplier ecosystems, connect engineering teams with global manufacturing partners, and support product development from early concepts through volume production.
Responsabilidades
- Own vendor and collaborator engagement strategy across technology categories
- Translate product and technology requirements into supply strategies
- Drive early supplier involvement, co-development, and co-investment
- Lead commercial and technical negotiations covering statements of work, NRE investments, capacity commitments, and partnership frameworks
- Provide supply feasibility input throughout product development
- Identify strategic technology partnerships and emerging supplier capabilities
- Build supplier development programs to improve engineering maturity, process capability, and operational stability
- Lead executive supplier relationships and strategic business reviews
- Establish and maintain a resilient recommended vendor list
Requisitos
- 10+ years of experience in supplier engineering and strategic sourcing
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management
- Experience assessing manufacturing and supply partners for end-to-end products
- Hands-on experience with volume manufacturing and overseas manufacturers
- Experience leading component suppliers, manufacturing partners, and other external resources
- Track record of leading supplier selection and qualification with engineering and research teams
- Technical knowledge of electrical components, PCBs, optical components, mechanical systems, and thermal domains
- Ability to translate product requirements from early concepts into cost-effective supply and ecosystem strategies
