Senior Data Center Operations Project Manager

Lead physical expansion and operational readiness projects for sustainable data center infrastructure. Coordinate site preparation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, vendors, engineering teams, and cloud readiness through final testing and handoff.
Responsabilidades
- Oversee site readiness for equipment installation and operational deployment
- Manage end-to-end physical-layer and structured-cabling infrastructure rollouts
- Coordinate vendor execution from planning through testing and handoff
- Oversee installation of backbone fiber, copper, pathways, and containment against engineering designs and timelines
- Align deployment engineers, digital infrastructure, site reliability engineering, and external partners
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependency tracking
- Identify project risks, physical constraints, and resource blockers and implement mitigation plans
- Provide proactive progress, risk, and milestone updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Standardize and improve deployment processes and documentation
Requisitos
- At least 7 years of technical project or program management experience focused on infrastructure deployments, data center operations, hardware rollouts, or large-scale technical infrastructure
- Understanding of data center site readiness, networking, server deployments, and cloud readiness
- Experience with hardware deployments, rack-and-stack operations, or physical-layer infrastructure rollouts in complex data centers
- Track record of managing complex technical projects from inception through completion
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools, Gantt charts, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating engineering, operations, vendors, and leadership
- Analytical problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage constraints, conflicts, risks, and changing priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel to data center sites as needed
Se valora
- Degree or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, construction management, or a related technical field
- PMP or Certified Data Center Design Professional certification
- 10+ years managing large-scale, hyperscale, or modular data center build-outs and physical-layer installations
- Experience or interest in alternative energy systems, stranded energy resources, or climate-aligned computing technologies
