Lead technical product areas for a data platform covering ingestion, reverse ETL, observability, and cataloging. Partner closely with engineers and customers to define priorities, ship reliable products, and improve measurable outcomes.
Responsabilidades
- Own product areas across ingestion, reverse ETL, observability, and data cataloging.
- Translate complex data and infrastructure challenges into priorities, specifications, and measurable outcomes.
- Partner daily with engineers on data modeling, replication, change data capture, synchronization performance, and schema evolution.
- Maintain alignment with a remote product leader through written specifications and proactive updates.
- Conduct customer calls to identify pain points, validate direction, and represent user needs.
- Prioritize the roadmap using data, feedback, experiments, and delivery results.
- Define product metrics and follow up after launch to evaluate outcomes.
- Monitor the data integration and observability market to inform positioning and prioritization.
- Help establish product processes, standards, and feedback loops.
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of product management experience, including 2 or more years with data-intensive or infrastructure products.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and pipeline dependencies.
- Working knowledge of relational database internals, especially PostgreSQL and MySQL replication, change data capture, transaction logs, and performance.
- Strong SQL and technical fluency in data quality, freshness, completeness, and lineage.
- Demonstrated success delivering technical products from discovery through launch with measurable results.
- Ability to work independently with a remote manager across countries and time zones using clear, proactive written communication.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment.
- Proficiency with modern AI tools for product workflows.
