Lead a data platform group responsible for scalable pipelines, streaming, storage, cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered forensic data capabilities.
Responsabilidades
- Own the group's roadmap, execution, and Agile/SAFe delivery processes.
- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering team members.
- Guide architecture for real-time and batch data pipelines, Kafka-based streaming, and Spark/Flink processing.
- Oversee AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture decisions.
- Direct data storage design across relational, NoSQL, and search systems.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Guide development of an AI agent for forensic use cases, including MCP tool design.
- Represent the group in a matrixed organization and partner with product teams.
Requisitos
- 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including 5+ years managing engineering teams.
- Experience with data platforms or big data engineering in cloud-native, high-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, partitioning, consistency, fault tolerance, performance, and reliability.
- Technical depth to guide architecture, review designs and code, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Working knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, Kafka or similar streaming technologies, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/RDS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and NoSQL databases.
- Working knowledge of AI agent architectures and MCP or similar standards.
