Lead multidisciplinary electromechanical research and development projects from technical definition through delivery, coordinating engineering teams, subcontractors, testing, compliance, and operational transfer.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electronics engineers.
- Manage end-to-end R&D projects, including technical definition, planning, risk management, milestones, and delivery.
- Develop research strategies that support product innovation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and internal interfaces.
- Oversee prototype design and testing to validate product concepts.
- Support systems engineering activities, including requirements, interfaces, and customer inputs.
- Track project timelines, budgets, workloads, reviews, and delivery risks.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into product development processes.
- Lead technical work, documentation, and transfer of products to operations.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in electromechanical product development.
- At least 3 years of experience leading R&D teams.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and applicable industry standards.
- Experience with project management and budget oversight.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
