A government ministry seeks an experienced GIS professional to lead a small team and provide geographic information services to its units. The full-time role is hybrid, with two days on-site at ministry locations around the country and three days working from home.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and perform GIS work while providing professional direction to a team of 2–3 GIS operators and specialists.
- Carry out ongoing GIS tasks and provide technical advice and support to ministry units.
- Manage and maintain geographic information, layers, and GIS deliverables.
- Enter and update graphic and alphanumeric data in ArcGIS-based systems.
- Prepare and produce maps, reports, and other professional outputs.
- Lead GIS training and staff instruction.
Requisitos
- More than 10 years of GIS experience with a senior technician or practical engineer qualification; or at least 5 years of GIS experience with a bachelor's or master's degree from a recognized academic institution; or more than 10 years of GIS experience with an engineering or architecture qualification, a master's degree in urban planning, or a real estate appraisal license.
- Proven experience with ArcGIS, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ModelBuilder.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement and travel between ministry sites.
