Lead the financial strategy and operations of a luxury hotel, supporting profitability, business planning, financial controls, cash flow, and operational decision-making.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and execute hotel financial and business plans aligned with broader strategic objectives.
- Prepare annual operating budgets, sales and expense forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
- Identify profitability, cost-saving, efficiency, and new business opportunities.
- Monitor actual and forecast sales, labor costs, operating performance, and financial results.
- Maintain effective accounting, operational, asset-protection, and business-risk controls.
- Manage working capital and cash flow while ensuring accurate profit-and-loss reporting and tax compliance.
- Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations, audit issues, procurement activities, management contracts, and required reporting.
- Advise the general manager, executive committee, owners, and management team on financial and operational matters.
- Lead, develop, cross-train, and evaluate the finance team; support onboarding, succession planning, and recruitment.
- Communicate strategic priorities and financial recommendations clearly to stakeholders and direct reports.
Requisitos
- Four-year bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree in a related field plus at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting controls, cash flow, and operational finance.
- Ability to analyze financial data and market trends, communicate financial concepts clearly, and advise senior hotel leadership.
- Experience leading teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and overseeing internal, external, and regulatory audits.
