A growing social-impact fintech organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial, regulatory, investment, and audit activities across Israel and the United States. Responsabilidades
- Lead financial oversight and reporting for the organization’s Israeli and U.S. legal entities
- Prepare reporting for management, the board, and committees, and contribute to strategy development and execution
- Manage and develop the finance team, including payroll responsibilities
- Improve cross-organizational processes and implement ERP, BI, AI, and finance automation tools
- Manage the flow of funds from donation through grant distribution
- Oversee accounts, bank and custodial accounts, deposits, liquidity, foreign-exchange exposure, banking relationships, and payment-processing costs
- Own annual and multiyear budgets, forecasts, metrics, revenue and fee controls, financial models, and product pricing
- Evaluate partnerships and strategic transactions from a financial perspective
- Oversee investment portfolios, work with investment managers and the investment committee, and report returns to donors
- Develop new donation structures and channels, including real-estate and stock donations
- Manage donor and foundation reporting, major-donor relationships, and due diligence for large grants
- Lead audits, internal controls, risk management, insurance, tax and regulatory reporting, anti-money-laundering, and fraud prevention
Requisitos
- At least 10 years of experience managing finance, including senior leadership experience involving budgets or transactions of hundreds of millions of shekels
- Proven experience operating finance functions in a technology environment, including payment systems, wallet management, and control processes
- Experience managing multiple legal entities and bank accounts in Israel and the United States
- Strong knowledge of the Israeli market and ongoing experience working with the U.S. market
- Background in investments and capital markets, including work with an investment committee and active relationships in Israeli investment and banking markets
- Strategic and hands-on approach, with the ability to translate organizational goals into financial plans and execute them in a startup-style environment
- Strong command of analytical tools, financial systems, business intelligence, and dashboards
- High-level English
- Strong organization and attention to detail, independence, interpersonal skills, and cross-functional leadership
- Willingness to support peak periods such as quarter-end, holidays, and year-end
- Commitment to social change and the organization’s philanthropic mission
Se valora
- Certified Public Accountant qualification
- Experience in technology or fintech companies
- Knowledge of nonprofit-sector operations and taxation in Israel and the United States
- Relationships with major donors, family offices, investment professionals, bankers, accountants, or lawyers
- Experience in highly regulated payments environments, including anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer requirements
- Familiarity with leading ERP systems, including Priority
