An Israel-based Financial Controller will support accounting operations, financial close, reporting, controls, and cross-border finance processes at a global startup. The role suits a Big 4 accounting graduate with 1–2 years of assistant controller or similar experience.
Responsabilidades
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
- Manage routine accounting operations, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany items.
- Support budget-versus-actual analysis and explain key financial movements.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks, payroll providers, and other finance partners in Israel and abroad.
- Improve finance workflows, internal controls, documentation, and reporting processes.
- Support global payments, collections, vendor management, and cash monitoring.
- Assist with tax, compliance, audit, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Partner with business teams to gather data, resolve issues, and improve finance processes.
- Own ad hoc finance projects as the company grows.
Requisitos
- CPA.
- Graduate of a Big 4 accounting firm; audit, high-tech, SaaS, or international client experience is preferred.
- 1–2 years of assistant controller experience or a similar post-Big 4 finance role.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including financial statements, reconciliations, and close processes.
- Excellent written and spoken English for work with global colleagues and external partners.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with systems and data.
