Lead the electrical function at a hydroelectric power plant in Israel, overseeing maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability, compliance, and a team of technicians and subcontractors.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and train electrical technicians and subcontractors.
- Oversee the operational integrity, efficiency, and reliability of electrical systems.
- Plan and perform preventive and ongoing maintenance, including outage activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and coordinate maintenance with Operations.
- Initiate electrical system improvements with Engineering.
- Develop and implement work procedures.
- Monitor spare-parts inventory, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with electricity utility representatives.
- Ensure site work meets contractual, technical, regulatory, EHS, and quality requirements.
Requisitos
- Licensed electrical engineer with Israeli high-voltage certification.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with high-voltage transformers, substations, and heavy rotating equipment.
- Knowledge of VFDs, pumps, blowers, low-voltage systems, generators, UPS systems, control systems, and air-conditioning systems.
- Fluent Hebrew and English.
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays during emergency malfunctions.
