Join a cloud infrastructure engineering team developing the data plane for a highly available distributed file-system service. You will build customer-facing capabilities and improve the reliability and performance of large-scale storage systems.
Responsabilidades
- Own data-plane layers, including networking and protocol termination, for a distributed file-system service
- Develop customer-facing features aligned with the product roadmap
- Enhance existing infrastructure to improve reliability and support new requirements
- Drive feature development, infrastructure improvements, and performance optimization in a complex, performance-sensitive distributed system
- Collaborate with filesystem engineering, product management, program management, control-plane, site reliability, and UX/UI teams
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree in an industry setting
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture
Se valora
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Experience developing accessible technologies
- Experience as a low-level core engineer
- Knowledge of clustered, distributed, and concurrent programming
- Knowledge of low-level C or C++ development
