Responsabilidades
- Own the technical strategy and roadmap for platform boot integration from early firmware through Linux login
- Set technical direction with architecture, domain experts, product teams, and firmware partners
- Lead complex cross-layer issues involving reliability, security, performance, recovery, and platform readiness
- Define interface contracts, qualification criteria, release decisions, risk management, and escalation paths
- Evaluate emerging technologies, development methods, and tools and drive adoption where they improve product capability or engineering efficiency
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 12 years of experience in embedded, firmware, or Linux systems software
- Deep knowledge of ARM platform boot, firmware, ATF, UEFI, bootloaders, Linux kernel bring-up, device tree, platform initialization, and userspace handoff
- Experience leading complex cross-organizational projects from definition through delivery
- Ability to influence architecture and product direction through technical judgment without direct management authority
- Strong C programming skills and practical Linux development, debugging, and hardware/software integration experience
Se valora
- Hands-on experience with ATF, UEFI/EDK II, Linux kernel, or complex ARM SoC and server boot flows
- Experience with secure boot, measured boot, provisioning, firmware updates, or recovery flows
- Experience building automated test, simulation, emulation, observability, or failure-triage infrastructure
- Experience introducing tools or engineering practices that improve team efficiency or technical capability
- Knowledge of PCIe, I2C/I3C, SPI, SMBus, BMC interactions, reset and power sequencing, and server-platform interfaces
