Develop and maintain a high-performance, cross-platform SDK for animal-monitoring products. Own its C++ core, Python bindings, public APIs, packaging, testing, and technical documentation while collaborating with algorithm, product, and application teams.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, test, and maintain the SDK’s C++ core and Python bindings.
- Maintain a clean, stable, monitored public API with strong performance and long-term maintainability.
- Package and distribute the SDK across platforms using semantic versioning and reproducible builds.
- Collaborate with algorithm, product, and application teams to define requirements and implement technical designs.
- Create unit and integration tests and improve build tooling as the SDK evolves.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve defects, and improve performance and code quality.
- Write technical documentation and examples that help developers adopt the SDK.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Expert knowledge of modern C++, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Medium to strong Python skills, including the ability to design and maintain clean Python APIs.
- Experience building and packaging cross-platform libraries and exposing native code through technologies such as pybind11.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, object lifecycles, memory models, and concurrency.
- Knowledge of build systems, dependency management, and library versioning.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
- Working-level English.
Se valora
- Experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine-learning inference, including OpenVINO, ONNX, or OpenCV.
- Experience developing binding libraries and distributing packages through artifact repositories such as Artifactory.
- C# experience integrating native libraries with .NET.
- Experience targeting mobile or embedded platforms, including Android.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
