Remote contract opportunity for an experienced IBM Datacap professional to develop, administer, integrate, and support enterprise document-processing solutions across secure environments.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, configure, enhance, and maintain IBM Datacap applications
- Build rulesets, tasks, actions, workflows, validation rules, and verification processes
- Configure and optimize OCR, recognition, classification, extraction, image processing, and batch processing
- Develop reusable components and custom actions for routing, validation, exception handling, and processing
- Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain Datacap environments
- Troubleshoot servers, Rulerunner, Studio, Navigator, queues, logs, performance issues, failed batches, and production incidents
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions
- Participate in technical design, sprint planning, testing, deployment, release planning, and stabilization
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, databases, file interfaces, content repositories, workflow platforms, and business applications
- Support IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator integrations where applicable
- Manage metadata mapping, exports, API exchange, retries, error handling, audit logging, and exceptions
- Develop custom components using C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and XML
- Contribute to source control, CI/CD, automated deployment, configuration, monitoring, incident management, and DevSecOps
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of hands-on IBM Datacap experience, including Datacap 9.x or 9.1.x
- Strong Datacap Studio development and Rulerunner administration experience
- Experience developing Datacap rulesets, workflows, tasks, actions, and custom processing components
- Knowledge of OCR, document classification, extraction, validation, verification, and image processing
- Enterprise Datacap administration across development, test, QA, UAT, and production environments
- Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience integrating Datacap with databases and enterprise systems using SQL, REST, and/or SOAP
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS
- Experience across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- IBM FileNet P8 and IBM Content Navigator experience
- C#/.NET development and custom Datacap actions or extensions
- Java, JavaScript, SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 experience
- Familiarity with federal IT environments, FISMA, NIST, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and PII protection
- Experience building new enterprise products rather than only maintaining legacy applications
