Join a Security Operations Center as a hands-on Tier 2 analyst focused on investigating escalated alerts, determining evidence-based conclusions, and supporting incident response. The role is based in Tel Aviv and includes participation in an on-call rotation.
Responsabilidades
- Investigate escalated security alerts across endpoint, identity, cloud, email, and network layers
- Determine investigation scope, impact, and root cause using EDR, SIEM, and supporting telemetry
- Escalate suspected incidents to Incident Response and complex investigations to Tier 3
- Provide feedback on detection and prevention quality, false-positive patterns, and coverage gaps
- Refine SOC runbooks, triage guides, and investigation procedures
- Review Tier 1 escalations and coach analysts on handoff quality
- Document investigations for handoff, quality review, and lessons learned
- Participate in the on-call rotation as an investigative point of contact outside business hours
Requisitos
- 5–7 years of hands-on security operations experience with substantial alert investigation experience
- Experience reaching clear investigation verdicts, including confirmed incidents
- Strong experience with EDR platforms and SIEM-based investigations, including independently writing and adapting queries
- Ability to map findings to the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Investigation experience across at least two of endpoint, identity, cloud, email, or network security
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux internals, including processes, authentication flows, and persistence mechanisms
- Solid TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S networking fundamentals and ability to interpret network telemetry
- Python or similar scripting ability for analysis at scale
- Familiarity with SOAR platforms
- Fluent written and verbal English
