A senior security engineer role focused on application and cloud security, building automation and AI agents, coding tools in TypeScript/Python, and partnering across product, cloud, and IT teams to secure a digital-first insurance platform.
Responsabilidades
- Build and maintain automation systems and AI agents to minimize manual security tasks.
- Code internal security tools in TypeScript and Python to support the team.
- Evaluate third-party security tools and vendors; take ownership of adopted solutions.
- Proactively identify new attack vectors and security gaps.
- Partner with product, cloud, and IT teams on security design for new features and infrastructure.
- Support security operations including alert triage, incident response, and code vulnerability review.
Requisitos
- 5+ years of security engineering experience with a strong application security or development foundation.
- Hands-on coding ability in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and security integration.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Proactive mindset to identify and fill security gaps independently.
- Clear communication skills to convey security risks to non-security stakeholders.
- Ability to work in an office environment most days of the week.
