Lead quality assurance for Linux-based embedded applications, owning test strategy, automation, integration, regression coverage, defect verification, and release readiness for video and control workflows.
Responsabilidades
- Lead QA activities for Linux-based embedded applications
- Define, maintain, and execute test plans for video streaming, system control, management, performance, reliability, and product integration
- Plan regression cycles, validate fixes, track defects, and provide release-readiness recommendations
- Design and promote automated testing with scripting, test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with software developers, algorithm engineers, system engineers, product teams, and field support
- Analyze field issues, reproduce customer scenarios, support root-cause investigations, and verify corrective actions
- Establish QA processes, test documentation standards, defect-tracking practices, and quality metrics
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on QA experience, including embedded devices, embedded Linux applications, or hardware-integrated software
- Strong Linux proficiency and experience troubleshooting embedded target devices
- Experience testing software directly on embedded hardware and isolating issues across software, operating system, network, and hardware interfaces
- Experience defining test strategies, writing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, managing regression cycles, and validating releases
- Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for test automation, device control, log analysis, stress testing, and repeatable validation
- Experience with Git workflows, defect tracking, CI/CD processes, build artifacts, versioned releases, and collaborative development environments
- Ability to prioritize QA work, communicate technical risks, and collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and field engineering teams
