Hands-on engineering role responsible for the infrastructure and software stack used to control and manage Android devices. The role combines Android automation, Python development, backend services, databases, Linux infrastructure, and deployment in a small engineering team.
Responsabilidades
- Maintain and improve the existing Android device control system
- Design and implement new platform functionality and components
- Work across Android devices, device control, backend services, databases, Linux infrastructure, and CI/CD
- Own features and infrastructure from design through deployment
- Investigate issues across multiple system layers and improve reliability
Requisitos
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Strong Linux knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with Android devices and automation
- Practical experience with Android Debug Bridge (ADB)
- Good understanding of Java and the Android ecosystem
- Experience with databases and backend services or APIs
- Familiarity with Git, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes
- Ability to work across an existing codebase and infrastructure
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills
Se valora
- Experience managing or automating multiple Android devices
- Knowledge of Android internals and advanced ADB usage
- Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, or large-scale automation
- Experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure, or CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of networking, monitoring, logging, and system reliability
- Experience with production databases
- Experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems with failure recovery
