Develop, maintain, and upgrade financial core systems on IBM Mainframe using COBOL. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day from home.
Responsabilidades
- Develop COBOL applications for financial core systems on IBM Mainframe.
- Maintain and enhance existing core systems.
- Write and review code, conduct testing, and troubleshoot defects through root-cause identification.
- Work with system analysts and testing teams.
- Coordinate with multiple internal and external technical interfaces.
Requisitos
- At least 3 years of COBOL development experience in a Mainframe environment.
- Knowledge of DB2 and ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Computer engineering technician diploma or a computer science degree from a recognized institution.
- Ability to write code, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes.
- Ability to collaborate with system analysts, testing teams, and multiple internal and external technical interfaces.
- Strong ownership, systems thinking, independent learning ability, and communication with technical and business stakeholders.
Se valora
- Previous experience in a financial or banking organization.
- Experience developing 3270 Online screens.
- Experience with CICS.
- Experience writing JCL and working with files in a Mainframe environment.
- Familiarity with Control-M or another scheduling tool.
