A defense and aviation manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop production processes for aerospace components and assemblies, support production from early development through serial manufacturing, and influence product design for manufacturability. Responsabilidades
- Develop technological and manufacturing processes for aerospace items and assemblies.
- Guide product design teams on design-for-manufacturability considerations.
- Support production from early development through serial manufacturing.
- Participate in and lead design reviews with design engineering teams, subcontractors, and production-floor personnel.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and domestic and international customers.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree or practical engineering diploma in electrical engineering is required.
- At least three years of experience planning manufacturing and assembly work, providing engineering support on production floors, and integrating systems.
- Advanced CAD design experience is required.
- Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing skills are required.
- Willingness to travel internationally for training, production support, professional guidance, and reviews.
Se valora
- Experience manufacturing and assembling electrical harnesses, coaxial cables, and electrical boxes for aircraft.
- At least three years of aerospace experience as a manufacturing engineer or tooling designer.
- Experience with NX/UG.
- Experience with harness design tools such as HARNESYS.
- Experience writing work instructions and method cards in SAP.
